We are looking for an Corporate Controller to lead financial reporting, oversee bookkeeping operations, supervise the accounting team, and ensure the accuracy of journals, ledgers, and tax filings. You will prepare GAAP‑compliant financial statements, maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules, support payroll, assist the CFO, and help enhance accounting procedures while ensuring high standards of confidentiality, efficiency, and compliance.


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Prepare periodic and adjusting journal entries as needed.
  • Review general ledgers and prepare balance sheet schedules for preliminary and final financials.
  • Prepare monthly excise tax returns and reconcile taxes payable to B&O filings.
  • Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation schedules, prepaid ledgers, and amortization schedules.
  • Manage restaurant bookkeeping processes and monthly/periodic reporting.
  • Prepare required reports such as Landlord Sales reports, Census Surveys, and Unclaimed Property affidavits.
  • Oversee financial report production and ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Support the CFO with analysis, reporting, and ad hoc tasks.
  • Act as backup to the Payroll Specialist when necessary.
  • Supervise accounting staff including remote accountants, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
  • Participate in designing and implementing new accounting processes and evaluating benefit cost changes.
  • Uphold company mission, ensure confidentiality, and perform additional duties as needed.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related financial course
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience with supervision of 2–4 direct reports
  • F&B accounting background is a plus but not required
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, GAAP, and payroll best practices
  • Experience with general ledger systems such as Microsoft GP, Business Central, Sage, or Netsuite
  • Knowledge of payroll software or HRIS systems (Rippling preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Effective team leadership, project management, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and learn Business Central quickly
