We are looking for a Legal VA to review and manage contracts, support entity compliance, and handle legal administrative tasks. You’ll organize legal files, abstract key data, assist with filings across multiple jurisdictions, and ensure confidentiality. Familiarity with real estate-related legal matters and strong attention to detail are highly valued. 


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Review, update, and manage legal contracts, including deal specifics and jurisdiction details
  • Prepare new contracts based on templates; track versions and amendments
  • Organize and centralize legal documents using Google Drive
  • Abstract and input key contract data into spreadsheets and databases
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents
  • Perform administrative duties related to legal compliance and recordkeeping
  • Support filing of annual reports and compliance documents across multiple states
  • Navigate Secretary/Department of State websites for filings (training provided)
  • Conduct research on corporate entities as needed
  • Assist with property tax appeals and insurance claims
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
  • Handle ad hoc legal administrative tasks as directed


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Law, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role
  • Proven experience in contract review, documentation, and legal administration
  • Familiarity with real estate-related legal matters, including agreements of sale and property tax insurance (strongly preferred)
  • Prior exposure to property management or real estate law is a plus
  • Understanding of corporate legal entities and basic corporate law
  • Ability to work with compliance filings across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Excel for document and data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
