An Account Executive is an inside sales position responsible for putting
together our annual economic reports and large-scale conferences through sponsorship and advertising sales.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Oversee development for our media platform, the Invest: series. 
  • After initial event training, manage our strategic sales cycles while continually focusing on client goals and company success metrics.
  • Drive revenue through selling sponsorship/advertising opportunities to CEOs and senior management across our media platform (Printed advertisement, Digital campaigns, Event Sponsorships, etc)
  • Understand what is happening in the marketplace at all times and how to deliver appropriate proposals to clients.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with local CEOs, decision-makers, and government officials, setting up approx 15 meetings a week.
  • Lead generation through warm calls, cold calls, emails, networking events, follow-ups, meetings, and closes.
  • Become an expert at selling Capital Analytics’ products and manage the growth and development of several strategic relationships with clients and organizations.
  • Continue to build a book of business by consistently gathering leads based on information from events, direct mail responses, business directories, websites, and other sources.
  • Perform monthly sales goals and company initiatives.
  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective clients. 
  • Emphasize salable features, quote prices, and credit terms to prospective customers.
  • Maintain contact information and sales activities by creating and updating internal records in our CRM program.
  • Investigate and resolve client concerns.
  • Plan and execute annual conferences and events with direction and guidance from HQ.
  • Is aware of the latest news of the company and the latest markets, including launch dates, key speakers, etc 
  • Makes presentations exciting and relevant to the clients.
  • Communicates with management timely and efficiently.
  • Collects artwork material, photos, transcript approvals, etc in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a good relationship with the editorial team.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of sales experience
  • Self-motivated go-getter in an ever-changing advertising industry
  • Strong presentation skills and storytelling skills
  • Exercise excellent time-management and organizational skills.
