The accounting clerk will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support in various accounting tasks. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Director of Finance and other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the finance department.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Prepare and process daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating financial records, ledgers, and databases.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Generate and distribute reports, statements, and summaries as required.
  • Respond to vendor and internal team member inquiries and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial integrity.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Netsuite and Marketman, and MS Office applications, with the ability to perform basic data analysis and calculations.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and financial calculations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to team members and stakeholders
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree beneficial)
  • Proven work experience as Accounting Clerk or similar role
