The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, and automation frameworks, and a proven track record of implementing effective QA strategies. This role involves working closely with our development team to ensure the highest quality of our software products through automated testing.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Cypress automation test scripts for frontend and backend systems.
  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of automated testing frameworks and strategies.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to understand product requirements and create test plans.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and lead by example in all aspects of quality assurance.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years of experience specifically with Cypress.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation testing frameworks.
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
