What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner client by performing these tasks:

  • Capable of handling a large number of accounts which includes big and small businesses. 
  • To maintain the integrity of assigned accounts by making sure that the information in the system is correct and up to date.
  • Conduct payment collection efforts to minimize invoices that go on past due.
  • Communicate with the customers by email, phone or both in order to follow up on payment status for aging invoices and properly note such reasons in the system.
  • Capable of making decision on issues involving orders that are on hold due to past due and over credit limit issues.
  • Regularly meeting with US stakeholders to discuss issues with accounts and share the steps being taken to resolve.
  • Escalate issues involving aging invoices to the Sales and Account Manager and to continuously follow up until a solution is achieved.
  • Collaborates and offers suggestions to the Lead A/R Analyst or other stakeholders in order to figure out the root cause of account issues.
  • Ability to process payments over the phone while strictly complying with industry safety and security standards. 
  • Negotiating payments with customers who had expressed cash flow issues.
  • Offer recommendations to the Senior Credit Manager on issues involving accounts that are over credit limit and/or past due.
  • Account reconciliation and keeping open credits/debits at a minimum.
  • Offer and process refunds for overpayments.
  • Investigates and initiates reports on issues involving systems and work applications.
  • Ensure that invoicing, dunnings and automated systems are working without errors.
  • Perform occasional credit analysis to determine an account’s credit worthiness.
  • Ability to interpret credit and collections tools such as credit bureaus websites.
  • Responding to emails and inquiries within 48 hours.
  • Suggest and implement short- and long-term plans for achievement of process objectives.
  • Preparation of trade reference request.

Who are we looking for?

  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in AR Collections within a BPO setting.
  • Experience using Oracle or any other CRM.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with customers/clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel (Lookups and Pivot Tables).
  • Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting/CRM software.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Solid problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
