Asset Management Analyst

We are looking for a Asset Management Analyst who will lead the analysis, execution, and optimization of Lease-Up, Stabilization, and Value-Add Initiatives for multifamily developments. You will support Financial Forecasting, Cash Flow Projections, Budgeting, Market Trend Analysis, Acquisition Due Diligence, Debt Financing, and develop strategies that maximize Net Operating Income (NOI) and overall Asset Value.


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Provide Analysis and Analytical Support for Lease-Up and Stabilization of Ground-Up Multifamily Developments and Renovation Projects (including Unit and Clubhouse upgrades).
  • Deliver BudgetingFinancial Forecasting, and Business Plan Adjustments for assigned multifamily assets.
  • Stay updated on Market Conditions and Industry Trends, offering innovative insights to enhance Asset Value.
  • Develop and execute Value-Add Strategies including Expense ReductionsRevenue OptimizationStaffing OptimizationLease Expiration ManagementProcess ImprovementsCapital ImprovementsAsset RepositioningRefinancing, and Hold / Sell / Recapitalization Recommendations.
  • Support Cash Flow ProjectionsQuarterly Distributions, and Capital Call Preparation.
  • Provide analytical support for Debt FinancingRefinancing, and Asset Dispositions.
  • Assist with Due Diligence for Property Acquisitions.
  • Review Monthly Operating Statements and Project Expenses, compare performance to Internal Forecasts, identify Variances, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare or review Red-To-Black Analyses for Lease-Up, recommending Pricing or Concession Adjustments to improve Net Operating Income (NOI).
  • Analyze Sub-Market Economic Trends and forecast impacts on Repositioning and Exit Strategies.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field with direct multifamily-related experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on Multifamily Asset Management and Financial Analysis experience.
  • Direct exposure to Value-Add Multifamily AssetsRenovations, and Lease-Up/Stabilization.
  • Proven background in BudgetingForecastingVariance Analysis, and reviewing Monthly Operating Statements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Financial ModelsCash Flow ProjectionsKey Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking).
  • Strong understanding of Multifamily Operations including Net Operating Income (NOI) driversconcessionspricing, and expense control.
  • Experience supporting due diligence for property acquisitions and exposure to debt financingrefinancing, and dispositions.
  • Proficiency in YardiMicrosoft Office Suite, and familiarity with ChatGPT / AI productivity tools.
  • Willingness to support site visits and participate in acquisition due diligence (moderate travel).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills, high attention to detail, and strong professionalism.
