We are looking for a thoughtful and creative Content Developer to support and enrich the virtual and onsite activities offered by our senior living communities. This role is vital in enhancing the well-being of senior residents by researching, developing, and curating engaging programs that promote connection, joy, and mental stimulation. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure all activities are centered around lifelong learning and are developmentally appropriate for the main audience.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Research and recommend new virtual activity ideas that support cognitive, emotional, and social well-being for elderly individuals.

  • Develop games, trivia answer keys, presentations, conversation starters, and music/art-focused content tailored to the interests and abilities of seniors.

  • Source culturally relevant materials, nostalgic themes, or seasonal content that fosters connection and memory recall.

  • Evaluate past and current programs to understand the objectives, avoid duplicating information, and identify opportunities for further variety of enrichment.

  • Maintain an organized library of activities, content, and resources for ongoing use and adaptation.

  • Assist in measuring engagement and satisfaction to continuously improve programs.

 
Who are we looking for?

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a Content Developer.

  • Demonstrated experience in educational content creation or facilitation of senior living activity programs is a plus.

  • Proficiency in the English language and ability to follow directions to produce highly creative, credible activity content.

  • Background in recreational therapy, education, psychology, communications, or a relevant field.

  • Passionate about improving the quality of life for the elderly through meaningful activities.

  • Strong time-management and planning skills; ability to tailor content to various cognitive and mobility levels.

  • Empathetic, collaborative, and culturally aware.

  • Proficiency with digital software programs (Microsoft Word, Canva, PowerPoint, Outlook, and similar platforms).
