We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to manage and analyze inventory levels, ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. This role will serve as a key liaison between finance, operations, and IT to drive process improvements, troubleshoot system issues, and support financial decision-making related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand inventory levels and their financial impact while driving process improvements.
  • Work with IT to troubleshoot Oracle system issues affecting inventory, costing, and month-end close.
  • Calculate and shape decisions regarding inventory reserves for excess and obsolete products.
  • Coordinate month-end close with upstream departments influencing inventory and COGS.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on financial inventory reporting.
  • Perform flux analysis on inventory levels and COGS margins.
  • Manage all inventory levels and COGS-related audit requests.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Apply US GAAP accounting principles in business decision-making.
  • Support other accounting duties and ad-hoc projects as needed.


Who are we looking for?

  • 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations
  • Previous experience working in a U.S. company
  • Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Expertise in inventory reconciliation and cost analysis
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
