We are looking for a Data Analyst that will utilize knowledge in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail to incorporate data from the Performance’s order management system into reports for the Leadership Team. Data Analyst will stay up to date on trends and emerging technology, collaborating with peers to make sure we have the most up-to-date data analysis in place.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Data preparation for analysis and reporting in Power BI dashboards.
  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients (manufacturers)
  • Will provide continuous improvement in data processing to respond faster to Analytics requests.
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information.
  • Clean and prepare data for analysis. This includes removing errors, identifying outliers, and transforming data into a format that can be analyzed.
  • Develop models in Power BI to focus on the most critical specifying engineers, architects, and lighting design influencers, contractors, and distributors, i.e. compile data so a clear plan of action with accounts can be implemented.
  • Collaborate with internal business units to get them the most up-to-date information on their KPIs (metrics) – Sales, Customer Care, Quotes, Marketing, Energy Team 
  • Work well cross-functionally with peers to develop best practices, highlight improvement opportunities, and share successes.
  • Ensure a quick and proper response to all requests.
  • Long term – Get a better understanding of our market dynamics and start to create models to strengthen how we analyze the business against our competition. 
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.

Who are we looking for?

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst role. 
  • Must have a proven track record of consistently meeting goals.
  • Must have the ability to work remotely and independently and meet required key performance indicators in a timely manner. 
  • Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel.
  • Must have a high proficiency level with Power BI
  • Must have an understanding of financial terms in order to structure reports appropriately.  
  • Efficient written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to connect with technical and non-technical decision-makers.
  • Able to communicate clearly and efficiently and respond well to constructive feedback.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an ever-changing environment.
  • Enthusiasm and an understanding of the importance of correct and consistent data reporting 
  • Dynamic, self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership and a positive, goal-oriented attitude
  • Value teamwork and actively foster a collaborative environment.
  • High degree of accountability for performance
  • Outstanding planning, organizational, and administration skills
  • Flexibility and experience required to adjust to rapidly changing schedules and frequently shifting priorities.
