What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize all PostgreSQL databases related to Odoo ERP systems.

• Support and monitor ETL processes, data pipelines, and integrations to the company’s Data Warehouse.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across Odoo and reporting platforms (e.g., AWS QuickSight).

• Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.

• Tune performance of database queries, indexing, and configurations.

• Manage user roles, access privileges, and database security controls.

• Assist developers and analysts with SQL queries and schema design.

• Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Coordinate with the DevOps and Infrastructure team on capacity planning and high-availability setup.

• Maintain documentation of database schemas, procedures, and change history.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (required); MySQL and MSSQL are a plus.

• Familiarity with Odoo database structure and ORM is highly preferred.

• Experience with ETL pipelines, data transformation, and Data Warehouse design.

• Proficiency in SQL and database optimization techniques.

• Familiar with AWS RDS, S3, and QuickSight (or similar cloud platforms and BI tools).

• Strong understanding of data security, backup policies, and compliance standards.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and handle multiple priorities.
