Director of Distribution

We are looking for a Director of Distribution to lead strategic revenue optimization and distribution management across a multi‑property hotel portfolio. This role oversees CRS and GDS performance, manages OTA and third‑party partnerships, ensures accurate rate loading and channel content, supports system transitions, and drives overall channel contribution to maximize profitability and portfolio revenue growth.


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Oversee revenue performance by managing distribution strategies across property websites, GDS, OTAs, internal call centers, and third‑party channels.
  • Provide portfolio‑wide guidance to improve channel contribution mix and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure strong GDS optimization through rate audits, content validation, and partner production monitoring.
  • Lead transitions of properties from SynXis to iHotelier and ensure smooth onboarding and system setup.
  • Manage CRS optimization by auditing booking engines, rate mapping, and third‑party connectivity.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with major distribution partners such as OTAs and GDS operators.
  • Enforce standardized market segments, rates, channels, and sources of business across CRS and PMS for onboarding and transitioning properties.
  • Stay informed on new distribution technologies, trends, and opportunities and recommend potential partnerships.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day CRS operations and support revenue managers to enhance property performance.
  • Create and manage portfolio‑wide rate categories, including employee and friends‑and‑family rates, ensuring accuracy and proper reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits of distribution channels for content accuracy, competitive positioning, and rate integrity.
  • Provide hands‑on revenue management during property transitions to the portfolio.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Tourism, Revenue Management, or any related field.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive hotel revenue management experience, preferably in multi‑property or portfolio leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience managing CRS and GDS performance, including Consortia, Corporate Travel, and leisure agency segments.
  • Strong expertise in PMS and CRS platforms (SynXis, iHotelier), including onboarding, transitions, rate loading, mapping, and channel optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L analysis, forecasting, budget management, and expense control.
  • Excellent leadership abilities in coaching, delegation, team motivation, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment.
