What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Optimize administrative processes to enhance efficiency, ensuring 95% accuracy while adhering to regulatory standards and fund agreements.
• Provide clear and effective communication between Finance, Accounting, and Investor Relations to reduce investor complaints regarding funding and returns by 90%, improving investor satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.
• Ensure 98% accuracy of data across investor portals and accounting ERP systems.
• Prepare precise and timely financial reports across various platforms.
• Track, calculate, and record contributions, distributions, ownership splits across equity classes, and maintain accurate investor information, updates, and transfers.
• Review and reconcile investor portal outputs, capital balances across investments and investor pools, and ensure alignment with investment documents and subscription agreements.
• Manage the administration of real estate private equity funds, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate in the audit and tax return process, working with external CPAs and stakeholders to verify the accuracy of year-end tax returns and investor deliverables.
• Prepare and analyze waterfall calculations and preferred return metrics in line with complex subscription agreements.
• Partner with Asset Management to assess asset performance in relation to investment expectations.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal controls and processes.
• Support informed decision-making and ensure transparency for investors.
• ​Actively participate in the continuous improvement of internal systems and controls to drive operational excellence.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in investor management or direct interaction with investors.
• Proven ability to review, manage, and oversee the tax return process.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with both debt and equity capital raises, including tracking, calculating, and recording transactions.
• Preferred expertise in accounting for and reconciling investor activities across investor portals and accounting ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient with various investor portals; experience in portal implementation and setup is a plus.
• Ability to effectively organize and deliver information to external investors via investor portal platforms and address or redirect specific inquiries.
• Familiarity with InvestNext and IMS investor portal platforms is an advantage.
• Experience in real estate private equity, specifically with fund or single investment syndication structures and a diverse network of accredited and unaccredited retail investors.
• A strong drive to learn and contribute in an entrepreneurial environment.
