We are seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in our financial records through careful journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include supporting month-end and year-end closing, preparing financial statements, assisting audits, and ensuring timely tax filings.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

Prepare and post journal entries for daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, assets, liabilities, and revenue, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all entries are properly recorded and accounts are reconciled.
Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial records.
Calculate and prepare local tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission.

Who are we looking for?

At least 5 to 7 years of experience in GL accounting.
Experience with accounting software, including Quickbooks, SAP, or MRI.
Experience in insurance, healthcare, senior care, or real estate industries.
Working knowledge of YARDI software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
