We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, and organized Lead, Creative Design with at least 5 years of design experience, including 2 years in a leadership role. This person possesses a strong ability to lead a design team through influence and inspiration and has experience interacting with and influencing cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate for this role is expected to be familiar with the U.S. consumer goods market and have previously worked the night shift supporting US counterparts. He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, management team performance, and administration of production designers, artists, and graphics artists based in the GSC Manila office. He or she will work with internal resources to ensure that office policies are adhered to, performance levels are maintained, and team initiatives are planned and executed.

What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Provide the first point of contact for all operational aspects of the design team.
  • Oversee day-to-day service performance, managing people and workflow, escalations, effective delegation, and driving strategy in action to improve the internal and external customer experience.
  • Continuously explore new ways of working to improve the processes hosted by the Design Team.
  • Innovating new approaches to design problems and creating frameworks or optimization initiatives for common speedbumps
  • Establish and own the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on the operations of the design team.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction and oversee the quality of product renders/artworks within the Production Design Team, delivering against established business goals and objectives.
  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program quality, and strengths and identify areas for improvement within the scope of production design.
  • Assess and evaluate artwork release risks or operational inefficiencies for management and stakeholders, and lead process improvement initiatives to address the root causes.
  • Work closely with the Visual Communication Team, product manager, art directors, and cross functional teams to organize activities, and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for each program offer.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of artwork requests' progress throughout their life cycle.
  • Perform special tasks and assignments as needed. 

Who are we looking for?

  • 5 years of industry experience in a similar role
  • 4-year college degree in Fine Arts or similar area is required 
  • Experience in interacting with and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excellent communicator, confident writer and speaker
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
  • Can proactively study and apply new information without constant direction given
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups
