Loan Servicing Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a Loan Servicing Accounting Specialist to handle payment processing, daily cash reconciliation, and fund transfers while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines. You’ll manage escrow accounts, support audits, and collaborate with customer service and investor relations teams to maintain accurate and timely cash operations.


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Payment/ACH Processing: Review and post payments from checks, bill pay, ACH, and wires.
  • Payoff Processing: Apply payoff wires and process related refunds accurately.
  • Daily Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Funds Transfers: Execute transfers between escrow, investor, and operational accounts.
  • Exception Management: Investigate and resolve returned payments, unapplied funds, and misapplied payments.
  • Loan Cash Management: Process cash transactions, adjustments, and assessments to loans.
  • Investor Reporting: Collaborate with investor relations on remittances and advances.
  • Escrow Management: Balance escrow accounts for taxes, insurance, and disbursements.
  • Customer Support: Address borrower inquiries related to payments and balances.
  • Accounts Payable: Process refunds, construction draws, tax filings, and servicing bills.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor guidelines.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance cash management processes and maintain documentation.
  • Audit Support: Provide documentation for internal and external audits.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in cash management, mortgage servicing, or financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing, reconciliation, and escrow management.
  • Familiarity with federal and state compliance regulations (mortgage servicing preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
