​ We are looking for a Construction Administrator to handle permit applications, inspections, documentation, and compliance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and residential installation projects. You will manage multi‑jurisdiction permitting, support customers and field teams, coordinate with inspectors, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely approvals. This role is ideal for detail‑oriented professionals with construction or permitting experience.


What is your mission?

  • Prepare, submit, and manage permit applications for water heater, electrical, and HVAC installations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Track permit statuses, inspections, and final approvals to ensure on‑time completion and close‑out
  • Submit permits to customers and answer permit‑related questions via phone or email
  • Coordinate inspection scheduling with customers, technicians, and municipal inspectors
  • Maintain accurate permit records using company databases and project management systems
  • Review inspection results, resolve failed inspections, and arrange re‑inspections when needed
  • Ensure all required documentation (installation photos, as‑built drawings, certificates, compliance files) is properly stored
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with permitting offices, inspectors, and local utilities
  • Monitor changes to permitting codes, fees, regulations, and jurisdictional requirements affecting operations
  • Support technicians, field teams, and office staff with permitting requirements and compliance guidance
  • Assist accounting/compliance teams with permit‑related invoices, receipts, and documentation management

Who are we looking for?

  • College graduate (any field)
  • 2+ years of experience in permitting, construction administration, HVAC/plumbing/electrical coordination, or related trade support
  • Experience working with building departments, permit portals, or municipal trade permit systems
  • Working knowledge of residential building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and capable of managing multi‑jurisdiction workflows
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and high‑volume requests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer service experience
  • Detail‑oriented, accurate, and able to maintain compliance‑focused documentation
