We are looking for a Portfolio Accountant who manages financial reporting, general ledger integrity, and compliance for a portfolio of real estate assets. This role focuses on property financial statements, CAM reconciliations, audit workpapers, regulatory filings, banking reconciliations, and lease compliance. You will ensure accurate reporting, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and support external stakeholders across tax, audit, and lending requirements.


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Prepare and review quarterly operating statements for assigned real estate portfolio properties
  • Maintain and review general ledger accounts, posting adjusting journal entries as needed
  • Perform variance analysis and prepare explanations for financial fluctuations
  • Analyze and prepare intercompany billings, reimbursements, and allocations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and internal data across all portfolio entities
  • Prepare tax and audit workpaper packages, including supporting schedules and reconciliations
  • Support external accountants in tax return preparation and audit processes
  • Prepare and file regulatory reports, including Real Property Income and Expense statements and supporting schedules
  • Perform Common Area Maintenance reconciliations and escalation calculations based on lease agreements
  • Review lease abstracts and apply property tax, operating expense, and CAM provisions accurately
  • Prepare tenant reconciliation statements and escalation notices
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide financial reporting for loan compliance and lender requirements
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including lenders, attorneys, and accountants
  • Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure compliance with financial policies and standards


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in accounting roles, preferably within U.S. real estate or property management environments
  • Hands‑on experience preparing tax and audit workpaper packages for external auditors and accountants
  • Strong experience in general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Experience working with property accounting systems, preferably Yardi Voyager or similar platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP, and variance analysis modeling
  • Strong understanding of property accounting concepts, including CAM reconciliations, lease compliance, and financial reporting
  • Experience preparing and supporting regulatory reporting requirements, considered an advantage
  • Ability to independently manage a portfolio of entities with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for collaboration with United States‑based teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast‑paced environments
