What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Maintain knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, building systems, codes, and building types.
• Read and interpret construction documents, including plans, specifications, and reports, to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs for major scopes of Multi-Family Podium construction projects.
• Create and maintain clarifications, assumptions, and budget documents for estimates.
• Analyze and level bids, compare pricing, resolve discrepancies, and review materials during the bidding process.
• Validate budgets by collaborating with subcontractors and vendors, using historical cost references.
• Participate in project design and internal team meetings to support value engineering alongside trade partners.
• Create, process, and track purchase orders and change orders according to project specifications.
• Assist in invoice processing and ensure accuracy with contract requirements.
• Collect, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance records.
• Maintain updated project records and ensure all documents are properly stored and accessible.
• Support scheduling activities, track project deadlines, and ensure milestones are monitored.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers on deliveries and logistics.
• Assist in maintaining project timelines and schedules aligned with overall goals.
• Assist with submittal reviews for procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Ensure timely material delivery and track inventory to avoid shortages or delays.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm product quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Provide regular updates on project status, tracking key progress indicators.
• Assist in monitoring budgets by tracking expenditures and financial compliance.
• Prepare and submit reports summarizing project performance and metrics.
• Assist in generating RFIs for quality assurance.
• Assist in tracking site inspections and escalate quality control issues reported.
• Provide administrative support to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Handle project-related tasks including email coordination, meeting organization, and progress tracking.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 7–10 years estimating experience as a Project Estimator with Multi-Family projects of 300+ units and $50MM+ project values.
• Estimating background with a General Contractor and ability to estimate across multiple CSI divisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel for data and estimating tasks.
• Experience using ConstructConnect for take-offs and BuildingConnected for bidding.
• Ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs, analyze bids, validate budgets, and support value engineering.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and collaboration capabilities.
