We are seeking a Sales Development Representative who will proactively generate leads and hand them off to the sales team. You will be responsible for lead generation from primary research to the first meeting with our sales team. As a valued member of our sales and marketing team, your success will be measured by the quantity and quality of original leads sourced and scheduled.

What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Thoroughly understand the product, our ideal customer profiles, customer use cases and value propositions.
  • Utilize various tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and web research to proactively build a pipeline of potential customer prospects.
  • Proactively engage identified prospects via a combination of cold email outreach and phone calls to interest them in taking a meeting with a member of our sales team.
  • Schedule initial meetings between prospects and our sales team, prepare background information for the sales team, and manage any scheduling requests until the first meeting occurs.
  • Track and report your prospecting activity on a weekly basis in our internal systems, including HubSpot, Slack and our own product.
  • Engage with the sales & marketing team at weekly meetings to stay abreast of priorities, share learnings and brainstorm effective lead generation ideas.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience sales development role, with a track record of achieving or exceeding lead generation quotas.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info and HubSpot required.
  • Proficiency with other sales development tools such as Meet Alfred, Phantom Buster and auto-dialers helpful.
  • Experience working with SaaS / Enterprise Software products.
  • Strong written communication skills in a sales arena.
  • Engaging interpersonal skills via telephone, including the ability to listen closely to customer objections and think on your feet to engage them in productive and respectful dialog.
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
