What is your mission?

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Design, develop, and maintain database systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient database designs and architectures with focus on best data storage approach.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and tools based on project requirements and performance goals.
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, caching strategies, and other tuning techniques.
  • Implement and maintain data replication, clustering, and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in database development and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Document database designs, configurations, schemas, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Redis and other database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
  • Strong understanding of database internals, data modeling, and indexing techniques.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization, including query optimization and caching strategies.
  • Familiarity with database clustering, replication, and high-availability architectures.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications in database technologies are a plus.
