Senior Wayfinding Designer

We are looking for a Senior Wayfinding Designer to develop wayfinding strategies, plot sign locations, produce complete documentation, and design brand‑aligned sign families for luxury hotels, mixed‑use developments, and large precincts. You will interpret architectural drawings, map user journeys, prepare message and sign schedules with Bill of Quantities, deliver polished presentations, and manage deliverables from brief to construction issue.


What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Lead wayfinding strategy and planning for luxury hotelsmixed‑use developments, and large precincts.
  • Analyze architectural drawings to define user journeysmovement patterns, and decision points.
  • Determine sign locationssign typeshierarchies, and messaging logicplot sign locations accurately on plans.
  • Produce complete wayfinding documentation including wayfinding plansmessage schedulessign schedules, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
  • Establish sign numbering systems and consistent documentation logic.
  • Prepare final clienttender, and construction documentation packs.
  • Develop signage and wayfinding concepts aligned with brand and architecture.
  • Create 1–3 conceptual options for review and design sign families based on approved schedules.
  • Prepare polished PDF presentations and maintain presentation standards.
  • Clean and extract plans and elevations; prepare diagrams and visuals explaining wayfinding intent.
  • Work independently with accountability, collaborate with a Sydney‑based team, and manage multiple projects across phases.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic DesignArchitectureEnvironmental/Communication Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years professional wayfinding design experience delivering strategy and documentation for built environments.
  • Proven ability to interpret architectural plans, analyze circulation, determine sign locations and hierarchy, and produce wayfinding planssign location plotsmessage schedulessign schedules, and BoQ.
  • Advanced Adobe IllustratorAdobe InDesign, and AutoCAD proficiency
  • Strong documentation and file management discipline; capable of creating concept options and designing sign families aligned to brand and architecture.
  • Excellent English communicationorganization, and detail orientation; able to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
  • Revit/BIM3D capability, and tender/construction issue experience are advantages.
