We are looking for a Supply Chain and Operations Manager who will oversee the full lifecycle of supply chain management for our consumer products, including food, beauty, and cosmetics. This role involves managing relationships with freight providers responsible for the inbound transportation of raw materials and finished goods, as well as overseeing our third-party logistics (3PL) provider responsible for warehousing and direct-to-consumer fulfillment (pack and ship). You will coordinate procurement, production planning, and vendor relations while collaborating with the accounting and finance team to ensure smooth financial reporting and confirm COGS, expenses, and manufacturing timelines. What is your mission? 

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Update the operations dashboard weekly to flag brands that need to order inventory.
  • Manage inventory projections and update the inventory management board in Asana for products across food, beauty, cosmetics, and other categories.
  • Lead bi-weekly production planning calls with the brand strategists and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the accounting and finance team to confirm COGS and shipping costs monthly based on the previous two months' data.
  • Update Lifetimely with relevant expenses such as app costs, influencer/creator fees, new COGS, and shipping expenses.
  • Oversee freight vendors responsible for the transportation of raw materials and finished goods from domestic and international suppliers (e.g., coordinating container shipments from China to our US warehouse).
  • Manage logistics for inbound freight, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules and inventory needs.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners to optimize transportation costs and delivery efficiency.
  • Oversee our 3PL provider responsible for warehousing, order fulfillment, and direct-to-consumer shipping operations (pack and ship).
  • Collaborate with the 3PL partner to optimize shipping costs by adjusting packaging sizes, carriers, and exploring zone skipping for cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure that fulfillment timelines are met and customer satisfaction is maintained by managing the relationship with the 3PL partner.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product and packaging suppliers and vendors, both in the US and internationally.
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials, packaging, and promotional items across multiple categories, including food, beauty, and cosmetics.
  • Manage the development of new products and packaging with white-label suppliers and coordinate with in-house designers to design packaging and labels for samples.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team during month-end closeout to reconcile landed inventory, update orders, and confirm open orders.
  • Coordinate with the accounting and finance team to ensure accurate tracking of COGS, expenses, and manufacturing timelines.
  • Audit all invoices from 3PL partners, freight vendors, and manufacturing partners to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed terms. 

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full cycle of supply chain management including inventories, freight and logistics, 3PL management and vendor management
  • Proficient in using MS Excel and Google Suite
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics for consumer products, particularly food, beauty, and cosmetics.
  • Strong understanding of both inbound freight logistics and 3PL management for warehousing and fulfillment.
  • Ability to manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers, freight vendors, and 3PL providers.
  • Experience coordinating with finance and accounting teams for financial reporting and month-end processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead production planning meetings and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience managing international freight and working with global suppliers is a plus.
